Roses

roses

Roses have been admired for centuries for their beauty and wonderful scent. It would be hard to argue that roses are some of the most popular flowers in the world.

While most flowers within a single group, such as a daisy, have a fairly consistant look to the blooms, rose blooms can range from a simple five petaled bloom all the way to the lush, full blooms of the old garden roses such as the Bourbons.

Roses can ramble on the ground, climb a fence or a trellis, or be used as hedges or shrubs simply depending on the type of rose you choose. Roses are available in a range of colors from red, pink, yellow and white and shades in between these colors. The blooms may be a single color or a combination of colors.

Roses can be used by themselves in a rose garden or combined with other plants in a mixed bed or border.

While some roses require lots of TLC many do not. Do a little research and you will find the perfect rose for you.
