We had an absolutely beautiful weekend, with sunshine and temperatures around seventy. I was able to finish my springtime yard cleanup. By the way, I found a new use for a tool we have at our house. We have horses, so my husband has a manure fork that he uses to, well, clean up manure :). It makes an excellent leaf scoop as well. I raked up the leaves and then put the manure fork under the pile and put my rake on top and was able to clean up a good size pile of leaves in a short amount of time.

After the beautiful weather this weekend, it was certainly strange to wake up to sleet this morning. Mother nature just really seems to enjoy playing tricks with the weather around here.
