A friend and I were talking this weekend and she was asking me questions about how I choose the plants I use in my gardens. I have loved plants as long as I can remember. When I didn’t have a place to grow plants I still read gardening books and magazines, and wished for a place to grow all the beautiful plants in the pictures.

My friend’s questions made me realize that not everyone who buys a plant is a plant fanatic like I am. Many people are simply looking for something that looks nice and is easy to take care of. They don’t want to be a gardener they just want a nice looking yard.

With that in mind, I will be posting some of my all time favorite, easy care perennials. But I must warn you, if you successfully grow one plant, you will want more. You may soon find yourself happily addicted.
