Have you ever started plants from seeds? I will be starting my gardens at my new home from almost nothing so I have been researching various ways of starting plants from seed. One of my favorite things to do in the winter is look at my gardening books and magazines and plan for springtime. This year I have even more reason to plan than usual.

My husband and I bought a sadly neglected farm at the end of August. From then until the end of November all my free time was spent in cleaning up the mess the previous owner left behind, and then came the holidays.
