daffodil Now until the end of November is the ideal time to plant spring flowering bulbs in my neck of the woods, North Alabama zone 7A, and in many other parts of the US. Coreopsis

Coreopsis is one of my favorite perennials. Not only is it easy to grow but there are many varieties, with some blooming almost all summer long. Coreopsis, commonly called tickseed, grows in zones 3 to 9, depending on the variety. Read the rest of this entry »

I Love Gardening

I love gardening, something about getting outside and digging around in the dirt is very enjoyable and relaxing to me. Not to mention, the feeling of accomplishment once my plants begin to mature and accent my home and landscape.

I tend to be a plantaholic and I fall in love with and want every plant I see. I hope to share some of my garden and plants with you through this site. I hope you enjoy it.
